This place is now starting to show it's age but it was very clean and tidy with a very large "Free Carpark". All the staff were very helpful, and the rom was warm and cozy with a good outlook. Very clean room and bath, but I would only stay for a few days.
With Premier you know what your getting which is one if the attractions. The rooms are as every Premier. The restaurant is in the neighbouring Beefeater. The inn itself feels like an older property. There is a significant sleeping policeman style road hump right outside the reception entrance. You have to pass it to get into the car park. It is dangerous for low cars even going over at a dead crawl. Don’t stay here if you have a low vehicle.
Have to make a huge shout out to the fabulous Caroline! A week of various hotel stays and she was the shining light in all. Her customer service was above and beyond. Some people may have dismissed my questions but she embraced everything I asked for . Honestly a wonderful staff member to have on board!
It's a good and clean inn. However, the night before the vending machine didn't have any water and asked them for drinking water and in the middle of the night they had no solution for it apart from a brilliant response to boil the tap water and drink it after it cools down, kinda pissed me off.
Comfortable bed, not too far from Gatwick airport and free parking. Needs a clean. There was also an unpleasant and strong smell of cannabis in our room, we had to open the windows to try to get rid of it. But for the cheap price, I can accept those issues.
A massive thank you to Caroline, she went out her way to help, she provided us with excellent service. The road getting into the hotel needs some serious repair, the left side of the road has very deep potholes. The room was good, some mold in the bathroom, but other than that it was a great sleep. Thank you Caroline once again.
We stayed overnight with prior booking on the internet. Everything went seamlessly from arriving, getting cardkey from reception and leaving the cardkey in a box on departure. We had a good night sleep in a quiet location and delicious breakfast over at the Beefeater. Everything you expect from a Premier Inn.
Rooms need to be refurbished especially the bathroom and shower cubicles. Silicone going moldy and generally looking tired. However, perfect location if your flying out of Gatwick Airport. Book early and obtain a reasonable price. The adjoining grill and bar close at 21:50 so don't leave it too late to check in and eat.
